Introduction
In today’s competitive business climate and global
economy, manners, dining skills, protocol and etiquette are playing a
paramount role in day to day business encounters. Strategic alliances and
corporate restructuring require that savvy executives master the nuances of
protocol in business and social situations. Manners really do matter.
Business etiquette is more than just eating with the right fork.
Knowledge of business etiquette and manners can enhance
personal effectiveness and communication and adds to the bottom line.
This workshop will be facilitated by facilitators with
international experience: Philip Tan and Neda Nazemi. They have helped many
executives hone their business etiquette and develop finesse in their
communication skills. Philip and Neda will combine their expertise
and experience and share them with delegates of the programme.

Training Methodology
This training is filled with useful and applicable
content. Participants will be encouraged to participate for experiential
learning to take place. Videos, debriefing techniques and Q & A sessions
will be used for interactive sessions. All skills learned from the programme
are transferable.

PHILIP TAN LL.B (Hons); Dip

Highly
experienced facilitator, motivator and public speaker Philip Tan will
facilitate this programme.
A
facilitator of varied experience and skills, Philip has his postgraduate
management education from the University of Hull, UK. He has served in
various capacities in senior management. He has held the responsibilities of
vice president of a leading institution of higher learning, chief operating
officer of an MSC status company, director of continuing professional
education in a hospitality entity and group sales manager of an MLM. He has
also served as Senior Examiner for the Chartered Institute of Marketing
(CIM), Asia Pacific Board of Examiners. Philip has also trained headmasters,
senior assistants and teachers from the Ministry of Education, the Government
of Malaysia, in the use of Executive English. Philip is able to draw upon his
past experience and varied qualifications and share them with his
participants.
